Emily A. Sorroche

Office of Cultural and Academic Transitions (OCAT)

Emily Sorroche, Ed.D Student, a member of Haudenosaunee Confederacy with the Cayuga Tribe and of Puerto Rican heritage. She currently holds a Coordinator position in the Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions, Student Affairs Division at Michigan State University (MSU). She is an affiliate member of the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program. Her work involves Advising the North American Indigenous Student Organization, Co-Director of the Indigenous Youth Empowerment Program and Board Member of the Michigan Indian Education Council. Emily is currently completing her Doctoral work in the College of Education with a focus on undergraduate American Indian & Indigenous students.
